I'm assuming (hoping) that the extra training modes that are included in the new G82 which is 1/10th the price of the R50 will be coming soon. The G82 includes swing tempo measurement / training and swing speed measurement without hitting a ball.
The fact that these extra fields are now in the Garmin Golf app is encouraging.
