regarding: GLM Version 4.0.3 Software Rollout ~ 50%

So - how do we know if we are part of this lucky 50% that the update was pushed to?!

  • Apparently its being rolled out on a first come first serve basis, depending on when u purchased the device. 

    I spent several hours the past few days testing bugs, installing garmin apps, submitting logs, emailing product support, taking pictures and videos, etc.. When I saw that a new patch was available (after questioning why only a 50% rollout) I selfishly hoped I would be on the list so I could resume golfing! 

    I dont mean to hijack ur thread but I have to say, for a huge company like Garmin to roll out an untested update like this, offer no official communication outside of "wed like to add u to the support ticket", refuse to rollback the broken version for a week PLUS, then only roll it out to half of the consumers seems pretty bush league. Just leaves a bad taste in my mouth but maybe Im bitter because I havent been able to putt for 8 days! 

    Sorry for derailing. Hopefully we are all back to 3putting from 20 feet by the end of the day!
