Garmin communications

Having been watching some of the content coming out of the PGA show, I can’t help but wish that Garmin would be more proactive in their communication with customers.

I’ve been particularly impressed with Protee, and how it seems like a collaboration between them and the community, and how responsive they are to feedback.

On the Joe Lagowski video with their CEO, he talks about their roadmap and what’s coming up, and I find it really refreshing when compared to Garmin’s approach of keeping quiet until they make a release.

I personally think Garmin could take note of this approach and work together with their customers more than they currently do. The R50 has such great potential, but I don’t think it feels like they’re working together with us (their customers) just now.

I appreciate that other people may view it differently though.
