im sure im missing something but for a right handed golfer, in to out swing path and a closed club face should draw to my knowledge. How am I still getting a right spin axis and a slice with this?

thus may happen if the impact was on the heel of clubface due to the gear effect
Known issue (sidespin is always marked as right (R) in the R50 device display, even if it is left). It is correctly displayed on the external screen.
That is correct. Display will show correct path but data tile will have an R after sidespin number. Hopefully this is corrected with an update. Doesn’t bother me to much. I just ignore the R. I can see the ball flight does exactly what I feel. I really pay attention to the face to path and club path direction.
i don’t think I have seen my ball go right if my face is closed to the path. At least not massive spin right if it did happen. If the two numbers equaled and I hit in the heal then more the likely the ball goes right. Not a ton of sidespin though.
Look at the picture of the screen he posted, you can see besides the spin number also the spin axis, that axis matches with a right spin. So the 1515R corresponds with axis.
In case it was a left spin the axis will be tilted to the left but the spin number will mention a right spin because of the bug that the number on that screen is always followed by an R.
You check this by looking into the other topics regarding this bug. There you can see an spin axis pointing left and a number with an R on the R50 screen and a L on the external screen.
Isn’t the top of the ball spinning left? I see the top arrow going left.
nope, that arrow indicates the backspin
Funny they have to put an arrow on the ball showing the direction of backspin.
Pretty redundant!
