My gap wedge and 60 degree shots are only detected about 1 in 10 - this makes playing very difficult, why would that be? What can I do to improve the detection rate?

I have also experienced this with the R50 and a Trackman. It seems to be due to the extreme launch angle; try moving the ball back in the hitting (detection) zone as far as possible before you swing.
Thanks, I have tried that, but it didn't really help, the trouble for me is I use a 60 degree Flop shot a lot around the greens so I can't play my normal game - I wonder if getting a spotlight on the ball would help? - my set up is pretty dark other than the screen?
My thoughts initially would have been light if you're getting misreads, I can hit full flop shots and never misses a shot, Just make sure you use LED lights to avoid any flickering for the cameras on the unit.
Magic, will do thanks
Hi, I put a strong spotlight up above it throws a bright light in a circle exactly on the hit zone, but that hasn't helped at all, so it doesn't seem to be the light - I tried just ball detection & club and ball, which also doesn't help. so I've now bought some of the reflective dots to put on the top middle of my clubs to see if they help, but haven't tried yet - I'll report back on the results.
So, I’ve tried a spotlight, reflective dots on the clubs, but I’m still really struggling - it’s missing so many shots it is actually making me re-think the whole R50 purchase. Can anyone help with any other suggestions?
I’ve only had issues like this with yellow balls.
Did this just start happening?
I can hit full flops but I do it rarely.
can you take it outside and see if it still misses?
