I would like to see a full swing video capture capability added to the Garmin smart phone golf app with data overlay captured by the r50

This full swing video capture capability with ball and club data overlay from the r50 and garmin golf app would be a separator. To my knowledge none of the high end camera based launch monitors have this capability and it would be a differentiator. As a launch monitor used for game improvement, swing video is important.

Fully agree with 6346531......swing capture (whether Garmin, or some add on camera system integration) would be very useful.

Flightscope Mevo plus has an app which allows multiple IOS devices to have auto video swing capture recording, as well as displaying the swing data on the same screen. That is very useful. I believe Uneekor also integrates swing cameras.

That will never happen with the R50 because it is technically not possible.

If you really want this: buy a golf launch monitor that is placed behind the ball or just use your smartphone. Obviously to say the smartphone would be the easiest.

Not only is it technically possible but it is surprising that it is not already implemented. The R10 has this with the garmin golf app on the phone. All that needs to happen is that the R50 should be able to connect to the garmin golf app on the phone. I have both the R10 and the R50. The R50 shows up on the app as owned, but you can't connect to it using the app. If you could, it would work.

Atarkid, dont know how to take your reply, if your with Garmin, its si.ply a terrible response. If your not with Garmin, i can't take your reply seriously, as if you know what's capable for real

The R50 camera’s are focust on the ball and small part of the club swing. They cannot capture the full swing.

As said, they off course could use the smartphone camera to capture the full swing instead. But the R50 itself cannot.

Agreed. No way R50 could capture an image from behind the golfer....That's not what is being requested (or needed by Garmin). Most high end devices offer a way to integrate video capture (done with a camera or smart phone) together with the swing data.......

I thought it went without saying in my requested description for swing video with a garmin app and smart phone that I never considered the r50 captu3ijg the swing video with its cameras. Think a little.....

I went ahead and bought a flightscope gen2 with the capability im requesting, then I bought a quadmax.
