R50 overheating

This has happened to me more than once -

Hitting balls in my garage - no direct sunlight on the machine. After about an hour it will stop reading balls and the indicator lights will disappear.

turn the screen off and on, same thing. When I touch the screen it is way hotter than appropriate and much hotter than the rest of the device.

it is 88 degrees here and the garage is open.

when I shut the machine down and allow it to cool and then restart it there is no problem for a while.

i understand the device is supposed to work up to 131 F but that clearly is not happening.

very frustrating for a $5k machine. Anyone have any ideas on what else might be happening?
