Backspin action on greens

Garmin is in the process of reviewing feedback from users regarding the spin behavior on greens for further consideration on future enhancements.

I've noticed this as an issue as well. On the Garmin range or Home Tee Hero, it's near impossible to stop the ball on the greens. You have to land the ball so short to get the ball close to the pin.

I realize it's not backspin. But what I do to counteract it a little bit is I set the stimp on the Greens to their lowest setting (6).  The balls stay on the green a lot better doing that, and I find take a bit more of the backspin I normally have on my shots into account in a way.    

When setting up your HTH round it's in the same settings page where you set elevation/ambient pressure/temperature.  

I have come to be tremendously disappointed with how inaccurate the longer clubs are. Backspin is non-existent, the “-10%” out of the rough is insanely inaccurate as well. I’d say the algorithm makes that alone a 3 club distance.

I have become incredibly disappointed with my purchase of the r50. Zero spin on the greens, massively inaccurate with longer clubs, and the “-10%” for shots out of the rough is probably the most grossly off. The algorithm is at least 2-3 clubs off in that respect.

I know this is a newer launch monitor, but Garmin owes some MASSIVE CORRECTION UPDATES for those of us that own this unit. Could be great, but it’s pretty far off right now.

HTH does need serious fixing. Rough is ridiculous along with green firmness. The rough feels like 20% or more penalty. 

I don’t have an issue with carry distance on the range. However, I think awesome golf metrics are even better.
