My unit does not seem to be putting out a hotspot

I go to

Ssettings > WiFi > Hotspot Settings

And it displayes a network name password and security.

But the network is not found on iphone or mac. Same with Wifi on but not connected, Wifi on and conected, and Wfi off.

What needs to be true for it to supposed to work?

You need to goto the Connect page and select your appropriate connector. The WiFi hotspot will turn on once connector is selected

Also make sure your other device is not on your home’s WiFi when you open the R50 connector page.

Okay but when I go to connect, there are not options.

The only thing that should display on the R50 after selecting the E6 Connect option is the WiFi Hotspot information. Then you must connect to the E6 Connect program installed to PC to setup and use the features.

The E6 Golf Support site provides the content on the connection instructions to use the E6 Connect features.

Your initial post on the topic outlined accessing the main R50 settings menu, which is simply where you can reference the hotspot connection information, but that section in settings is not where you can connect through. The same information displays when you select the E6 Connect or E6 Apex connector options, but this actually makes your Approach R50 visible to hotspot to the PC, and from there you have to proceed through the E6 platform to ready the device for shots with the features on their end.

I need to see if my iPhone or iPad sees the hotspot. I use a gaming laptop with GSPro but it’s possible my phone could see the hotspot too. Wouldn’t do anything but it might see the signal.
