Connection issuse

Are having massive connection problems after update to 3.7. What to do?

  • I was having issues when the garmin was on spotty internet. I got a wifi range extender, connected the garmin to it, and it’s been very stable since. 

  • If using 3rd party connected platform like Awesome Golf, GSPro, E6 Connect, or E6 Apex and you are experiencing concerns with disconnection errors during the session...please consider the follow suggestions as outlined below: 

    • Confirm the PC program you have installed is up to date to the most current version offered from the developer. 
    • On the Approach R50, close out of the session and open settings to check the WiFi connection to ensure the R50 is connected. 
    • Select the 3rd platform connector on the R50 so that the hotspot info is displayed on the R50 screen > Then on your PC. open your WiFi connection settings and ensure the PC is connected to the Approach R50 hotspot name for your unit. 
    • Once you have confirmed the PC is hotspot connected to the Approach R50, re-launch the PC program you are using to re-connect. 
    • Ensure your WiFi network connection is strong and stable connected to the Approach R50.
