How to connect to GS Pro using HOME wifi

The R50 license type would be needed vs the Approach R10 license type you mentioned. 

GSPro outlines in the connection steps two methods of connecting the Approach R50 to GSPro on PC. On the doc in the section titled, "Garmin R50 Setup" the first method of connection showing is the R50 Hot Spot Connection Method (recommended) and GSPro is recommending this connection method, where they outline specifically to connect your PC Wi-Fi connection to the R50 Hot Spot, entering in the password displayed on the hot spot screen directly on the Approach R50 after you select the GSPro option on-screen. 

The second connection method outlined on the GSPro R50 setup doc labeled, "R50 Home Network Wi-Fi" only offers the description "a. Although this option is technically easier to setup, it has the potential to be less reliable due to unknown WiFi network conditions and settings" and does not outline any further steps for the connection using the home network method.
