My unit received the software upgrade to 3.70. (I am having issues with balls going up to 60% less than expected on HTH) After the first round played, I have a few notes.
We had 4 people playing 18 holes on HTH (one Left-handed and 3 Right-handed individuals).
Note: For of the below, ball data was the only thing being tracked.
If elevation is set at 1,000 ft (approx. elevation where I live), distances are still up to 60% less than expected.
-When the elevation is set to 10,000 ft, distances are still less than expected but are somewhat reasonable to what I would expect at my elevation.
-This is no change from what i was experiencing.
During the round, the display on the monitor went blank 3 or 4 times.
-When the screen went blank, the LED at the bottom of the unit indicating the ball is in the range was not on and or wouldn't come on.
-After holding the power button until restarting, we were able to resume (restarting 2 or 3 times). Once, I had to restart a couple of times and end the round.
The R50 unit stopped sending to my projector 10ish times.
-Eventually (after a couple of shots using only the R50) it came back on.
-I've also purchased another HDMI cable to rule that out.
There were a few shots (full swing shots) that didn't register as shots at all.
Around the green's (Chip shots), there is still quite a bit of variation on expected distance to what is seen on the R50.
If there was a way to have players play the complete hole before having to change position (for left/right-handed) it would help the experience.
It would also be nice to be able to select playing 9 holes instead of 18.
