HDMI - Connecting/Disconnecting Daily

Hello!

I have to setup and remove my R50 before and every use, and do use it a couple of times a week.
I'm concerned if the frequent usage of the HDMI port will cause damage to it?

    As long as you prevent stress to the cable end while connected to the back of the Approach R50, you should not have a concern with the port. 

    Disconnecting and reconnecting should not cause damage, just be sure to gently remove or connect the cable in proper alignment between the HDMI connector end of the cable to the HDMI port on the R50. 

    Since the cutout is slightly angled due to the hardware shape and floor placement of the R50, I have found it best to lean the R50 carefully so I have a good view and access to the port within the closeable cutout on the back of the unit, to prevent any bending or stress upwards or downwards to the port when connecting or disconnecting the HDMI cable.
