After using the R50 for a week now, here are a list of software changes I would love to see that I think would really enhance the user experience and should not be heavy lifts for the dev team:
RANGE Requests:
- Add a VIDEO button to the screen that is always up somewhere on every display layout so you can press one button to get a playback of the impact video at full screen (and a toggle in settings to make the button press show it on the Garmin or the external display). Having to readjust the screen output to view the video then put it back to what it was is annoying and I can't imagine many people run impact video as a standalone viewing panel. It's a compliment to everything and should be available as needed with one always available button. ALSO add a toggle setting to show the impact video once after every shot automatically and then return to the configured display settings.
- Also for impact video, as others have said, please remove the useless frames before the club even enters the frame and ADD more post impact frames. The video would be MUCH more useful.
- Be able to set the teeing ground anywhere on the wedge/irons ranges
- CHANGE THE CURRENT SHOT TACER TO A DIFFERENT COLOR THAN THE OTHERS. Especially on the main range, it can easily get impossible to see the current shot shape tracer when mixed with all the other ones. I believe it actually tries to do this but eh contrast between colors is so low, especially on lighter colors that it's impossible to tell. Please use a high contrast color for the current shot that changes to the selected color after impact.

- Have a button to clear all tracers rather than having to exit session and start over
EXTERNAL DISPLAY - Be able to do SPLIT SCREEN ON THE EXTERNAL DISPLAY TO GET FOUR SEPARATE FEEDS
HOME TEE HERO Requests:
- ADD Yardages to tee choice settings (how was this missed??)
- Add options for further shot out next (how it is now) or play entire hole per player
- Add options to practice (ie replay) on a hole or start on a particular hole
- Add option to play front or back 9
- Add ADJUSTMENT to Autoputting circle rules
- Add ADJUSTMENT to rough and bunker percentage (I think the rough is too penal, it seems more than 10%). OR add two level of rough (ie a first cut 3-5 foot off fairway as less penalizing)
- Add GREEN button to r50 so player can see the green slope picture when hitting into a green that can't be seen from the ground level on the map view. The current overhead showing on the r50 doesn't show green slope lines
