Approach R50 - Home Tee Hero - Weekly Tournament - Waialae Country Club - Hole 18 issue resolved

Update as of January 9th, 2025: 

A fix has been implemented for users experiencing concerns with playing the18th hole on the current Weekly Tournament for Waialae Country Club. 

The steps to resolve the issue are the following as outlined below: 

  1. Open the device Settings on the Approach R50.
  2. Select the downloaded golf courses option from the menu.
  3. Delete Waialae Country Club from the downloaded list.
  4. Then navigate to Home Tee Hero, and select the Weekly Tournament option. 
  5. Download the course to start the Weekly Tournament. 

This concern is specific to the Weekly Tournament option within Home Tee Hero mode on the Approach R50. The Weekly Tournament option within the Garmin Golf app using the Approach R10 does not have this specific issue present. 

Please contact Garmin Support, create a new post here in the R50 forums channel, or feel free to direct message me if anyone continues to have any concerns with the current Weekly Tournament course currently available on the Approach R50.
