R50 standby issue and connectivity issues

Garmin team,

Something has to be done with regards to the 3rd party app connectivity issues and bugs. I’m pretty close to returning the unit as I have tried all of the troubleshooting steps to no avail.

1) regular disconnects from the pc

2) standby. How do I disable this on the r50? The device goes into standby not only far too quickly, but there is no way to get out of standby without doing a full end session and reconnect. 

3) when connected to a gspro after choosing my initial on screen option like shot data, it doesn’t let me change to another option without exiting the session and reconnecting.

what is the plan to fix these bugs?
