Trying to connect R50 to GS Pro running on Parallels Desktop/Windows on MacBook Pro.

I have a Macbook Pro and was able to run GS Pro on virtual Windows using Parallels Desktop for Mac. GS Pro runs fine but the R50 does not detect GS Pro even when I connect my MacBook the the wifi on the R50. Probably the R50 is looking for GS Pro on a PC and not detecting it on my virtual PC. Is there any solution for this?

It is working now! I had to choose a bridged network using wifi. Now working great! I had to switch the HDMI output from the Garmin to my laptop to see the GS Pro courses while the Garmin R50 display shows shot data.

The connection guide and instructions are supported through the GSPro website linked here: https://gspro.document360.io/docs/garmin-approach-r50-connection-guide

GSPro allows two options to connect the R50 either through the R50 as the hotspot with the "pass through" method...or using the Home Network WiFi connection method offered in the instructions on the GSPro site.

The GSPro site outlines the requirements for running their software on the site home page under "Frequently Asked Questions" stating that a Windows PC with either Windows 10 or 11 as the OS.

You would need to contact GSPro about running parallels on a Mac as the system imaging must meet certain requirements...as with partitions to other systems.
