Using the R50 with GS Pro and not able to switch between left and right handed hitters.

Using the R50 with GS Pro and not able to switch between left and right handed hitters. It works fine in golf hero courses based on the player settings. However, it seems like when you connect to GSPro it aligns to a single players settings with no way to change once within GSPro. I have configured GSPro players to right and left handed, which is shows on the screen. But R50 will only let you hit one way.

By the way, for anyone interested in ease of switching between left and right handed players, the out of the box experience with Garmin R50 works great. Just move the monitor to the other side of mat and it will auto adjust for the player settings. It just doesn’t seem to work when using GS Pro.

This is also an issue with awesome golf. While it would be best to have gspro and ag tell the R50 to switch to lefty, a quicker fix would be to allow switching player profiles while in the 3rd party app mode. Could be done with a firmware uodate...

This is also an issue with Awesome Golf. GS Pro and AG being able to switch unit to lefty would be best but Garmin can fix this now by allowing us to switch garmin profiles while in the 3rd party app mode. Could be done with firmware update to the unit now...

Agreed. It is strange that you have to load the 3rd party app as a specific profile.

Issue I see with right and lefty golfers you are moving the sim every shot. It should let righty go and finish the hole then the lefty would go. On a par 5 if you make par you are moving the sim back and forth 10 times. Instead of 2 times.

Hopefully that fix is coming?

Agreed. I was using E6 for a while and when playing you could select which player to hit regardless of who is closest to the hole. Just having that would cover what you are saying.

In GS Pro go into Settings >>> Game >>> Player Rotation Style >>> Play Out Hole

Does anyone know if Garmin is addressing this issue? The GS Pro connector shows me if there is a left or right handed golfer so the R50 should be able to know this and make the change automatically for us. I’d even accept a manual option like in the GCQuad where you have to tap Left or Right to change the handedness mode.
