R50 feature request - Select the hole you want to play on a course in practice

I just received my R50 and it's awesome, but one thing missing from the practice is the ability to play specific holes or shots selectively. I.e. go into a course in practice mode and play a tee shot on a specific hole, or only play a specific par 3. At the moment, if I want to practice on 17, I have to pick up the ball on 16 holes to get there.

It would be great if there was an option to select your hole and/or even a starting location in the practice area.

I agree completely. Also, in a similar vein, the amount of time you have to choose mulligan is way too short (or should be a settable option). This would be a good way to replay a particular tee shot with different clubs, aiming points, and shot shapes. But, if you don’t jump on the mulligan option right away you are stuck.

I am coming from Skytrac+ and have been using the latest in-house software they released for the iPad with lots of courses. Overall the Skytrac software is vastly superior to Home Tee Hero but the Garmin R50 hardware is much better than Skytrac+. I get frustrated with Skytrac+ because the connection with my iPad can be buggy and it often drops the connection. The R50 is super reliable so far, but Home Tee Hero feels so primitive. As FredJ said, please add a feature to not automatically advance to the next hole. The time to choose a mulligan is way too short! Also the option to play individual holes would be great. One big plus is that now I can play my local courses with is really great. Love that.

Totally agree, surprised this isnt available out of the box on a high end launch monitor like this.

I would also hope you could simply select ANY hole from ANY course in the HTH courses to play ,
