Garmin R50 - club data and distances.

I got my R50 yesterday and my club head speed seems to be about 20 mph off with each club? Is there any way of calibrating the device or is it possible it’s picking up interference of some kind. Can’t get my 8 iron to go more than 100 yards for example. Normally a 140/45 club on track man or GC quad.

What does your 8 iron show for ball speed, launch angle and back spin?

That all looks correct for sea level numbers. If you are at a higher altitude make sure it is adjusted in the settings.

you can change ball flight conditions in session settings if you haven’t already.

click on distance range and go down to elevation, humidity, and temperature.

I noticed the same with mine it's off a good 12% on carry and swing speed with nearly every club hopefully it's something they can fix asap I have my altitude and humidity/ temp settings adjusted i know my numbers pretty well and there definitely off ive seen alot of people saying the same things hopefully it's something they can fix over the air and not have to swap out units

I saw a YouTube video the other night and the distance was showing yards but the elevation was showing in meters. This seemed odd to me. Mine doesn’t do this. It’s yards and feet.

Wonder why they locked the other thread talking about issues people are having seems counter intuitive instead of coming up with solutions to accuracy problems they lock up out of trying to get help and figure out what's going on? Seems odd makes me wonder if I should return my unit before the 30days are up since I'm not gonna receive any help on the issues

I found that quite disappointing as well tbh. My unit is confirmed as being faulty and is being replaced next week. I hope I don’t regret not buying an eye mini or GC3.

I ordered through golf swing systems who have been really good to deal with. My unit is the second one they have had retuned this week. You should have a 30 day guarantee with Garmin?
