No picture from hdmi lead to projector

When I put the hdmi lead from my projector straight into the R50 there is no picture, it can’t be the lead as it works ok with my iPad. Any help?

Had the same problem. It would show “R50” on the display of the external monitor but not actually display anything else. It seems to relate to the order of operations. Shut down, plug in everything and restart. Make sure to actually tell the R50 to display something on the external monitor. I think it defaults to “startup screen”.
