Unable to Capture Club Metrics

Will an update sort out that the device is not able to capture club metrics while chipping? 

I have just returned my R50 as it does not read puts and chipping. A hint to this is given in the software, as no range can be found by, with putting or chipping as target… huge dealbreaker for me…

Did your unit not read any ball speed, distance or launch angles when chipping? I have only read and heard about club data not being captured on chips. I know the R10 has a hard time picking up ball and club data because I have one but my R50 has always picked up distances and direction. 

The chipping was not always accurate for me. But I primarily returned it for its lack of putting. I do a lot of simulator golf, and not being able to put nowhere near accurate is a shame for a product in this price range.
