I updated my Garmin R10 to the new 4.50 firmware and tested it out with Titelist RCT balls. I am not getting any club path, face or angle data still.

Agreed, these updates have now meant I have no trust in the readings it is giving me. I took it to the driving range to compare and its way off. Recorded vids of my swing, definitely in to out and attacking…
Apologies, but I have tried recalibrating and yes I have a leveler (bought from golfbays.co.uk), also device is 7ft from the ball. Also as stated earlier I also took the device to the driving range and…
After further testing I am only getting around 60% of my shots tracked, the distances seem way off and not sure the spin data is correct....version 4.3 was as close as you can get. Can we please have a…
Ya it’s not fixed. I am getting Readings sometimes on these but it doesn’t seem accurate when it does. Like getting attack angles of -9. I’ve never got one more than -5 before.
Edit: After more use, the issue seems to be Wedges/High lofted clubs. Driver and longer clubs I'm getting readings every time, and their the same as I got from 4.3.
After further testing I am only getting around 60% of my shots tracked, the distances seem way off and not sure the spin data is correct....version 4.3 was as close as you can get. Can we please have a way to revert back to version 4.30, the R10 is of no use with this current firmware. I may start looking into other launch monitors otherwise
Please try to calibrate the device and see if this helps with your next Golf activity:
Open the Garmin Golf app.
Select Profile.
Select My Devices.
Select your Approach R10.
Select Device Calibration.
NOTE: A calibration needs to be done with the Approach R10 on a level surface measured by a leveling tool. Common floors and tables are not always level. If the calibration is done improperly, the calibration could fail or make the Approach R10 less accurate.
Select Calibrate.
Select Done.
will try this today, thanks
tried calibration today, it is less problematic for missed tracking, but attack speed is not accurate at all, getting +10 upwards, yet I usually average around -2. Also noted that it is now struggling with wedge tracking
further reviews of the data and anything related to the club is off, I am an in/out ball striker and the readings are so inconsistent, the attack angles just read as random numbers...I cannot trust this data at all, and the ball flight is way off too...considering 4.3 was as close to perfect as you could get with this device, this update is aweful
I've just tried to cancel my membership as well and I do not get the option to cancel!!!
I’d be frustrated in your position as well. This update was unnecessary. 99.9% don’t care about the stack system let alone using it on the R10. There were far more pressing issues needing fixed in home tee hero that still have zero response from Garmin.
Agreed, these updates have now meant I have no trust in the readings it is giving me. I took it to the driving range to compare and its way off. Recorded vids of my swing, definitely in to out and attacking the ball first always. So all the club readings are wrong. I have now cancelled my yearly subscription and will not renew until it is fixed, or they allow us to reinstall firmware 4.3 or I buy a new monitor
Please try the troubleshooting steps in this FAQ we've created for the radar features of the Approach R10. It is possible that the length and speed of the backswing may affect the device's abilities. If this is the case, you may need to prolong or accelerate the backstroke to get it to pick up properly.
