Has anyone tried a dome shaped net outdoors with the R10? Does it work? Does the ball need to be at least 8 feet from the back of the net where the target is or from the front of the net where the edge is?
The absolute minimum amount of ball flight allowable is 8ft from the location of the shot to the target stopping the ball flight.
The front of the net should not be the measurement point for the 8ft minimum unless that has a potential of being a target of your shot resulting in the ball being stopped immediately at that point.
It is also worth mentioning that if you should allow as much ball flight as possible within your setup for the R10 to measure as much of the shot as your space will allow. This will allow for a better picture of your shot for the values showing on the radar derived metrics, along with the calculated metrics provided from the R10.
