Approach R10 cannot connect to new Iphone

Hi All,

I got a new Iphone 14 and it cannot locate my Approach R10. I have previously installed, and used, the same R10 on my old Iphone. I can read that I need to delete the R10 from my previous device. The problem is that I gave my old Iphone back (was a company phone). Eventhough I deleted everything on the old iphone, I did not per se delete the R10 etc.

Can anybody please help here. Thanks much. Villum

  • You don't need to delete anything on Your phones.

The R10 unit will search for previously connected devices, and will connect to the last known device first.

If this is not in range, it will connect to another known device.

So if Your old iphone is sold, it will not connect to this, obviously.

However, if You have another known device within range, it will connect to this.

So what You need to do is to turn off Bluetooth on any other devices within range of the R10.

Then hold the power button on the R10 unit until it turns solid blue.

Then it is in pairing mode, and You should be able to connect to it on Your new iphone.
