Hi All, first time question from new member

Has anyone any experience of buying a second hand R10?

I expect that no E6connect courses will come with the unit as they will have been registered to the previous owners E6 licences,

Will the unit itself be free to be connected to the Gamin golf app in my name.

Im thinking that the money saved on purchase will fund a membership to GS pro

The e6 Connect app allows R10 users to try out 5 pre-determined courses through their mobile app. The e6 Connect mobile app is only available on iOS, so that platform has the option if you are pairing…

The e6 Connect app allows R10 users to try out 5 pre-determined courses through their mobile app. The e6 Connect mobile app is only available on iOS, so that platform has the option if you are pairing the Approach R10 to the Garmin Golf app on an iPhone.

The e6 Connect mobile access to 5 courses is not something Garmin specifies as a feature or benefit when purchasing an R10, and is only available as long as e6 Connect is providing the access. This is something dealers advertise due to the R10 being compatible with 3rd party platforms like e6 Connect.

GSPro is not a supported platform Garmin lists as compatible with the R10 and there is no official support from Garmin regarding the GSPro platform open sourced software workarounds being implemented to use the R10 on that platform.
