Do you have to calibrate the R10 new out of the box?

Do you have to calibrate the R10 new out of the box? Also, does calibration depend on setup and environment you are actually using it in or can it be done on the desk connected to the laptop after updating from Garmin Express?

Also, when everyone refers to "calibration", is that within the App Settings, or, under the Driving Range part of the app by setting weather conditions and distance from R10?

Calibration calibrates the unit regarding to tilt.

It has nothing to do with weather settings, and should be done at location. Calibrating the unit and then moving it makes no sense.
