Apologies to Garmin for some of my complaint posts about distances being off for some time and wanting a software update. I had said nothing had changed with my set up, which was true with exception of one minor change. I had moved my pub table which has metal legs and foot bars and my R10 when playing would sit right underneath. Still a clear look to ball so I thought nothing of it. After many months of frustration I put the table on casters for easy move around, and when the table is absent it performs perfect once again. Exact distances I expect, shot shape, speeds, etc...
Long winded way to say to anyone with an indoor set up who is experiencing issues with performance, you might want to ensure everything is clear around the R10 above and to the sides. I don't know if it was the metal legs to left and right or the table top above creating an "echo" throwing off the doppler, but I can raise my hand and say with full clearance all around it is spot on.
