Chip shot club path and AoA detection

Garmin-Cody  or anyone from Garmin, can you advise please ? 150 more shots today and same result. No data being catched for this short chips.

The length and speed of your backswing may affect the device’s ability to detect your chip shot. If the device is not detecting your chip shot, you may need to prolong or accelerate your backswing.

You can get a gauge of how long the back swing needs to by using this technique;

1. While observing the status LED, take a practice swing
2. If the status LED turns red, it is detecting your swing (It won't register a shot unless you hit a ball)
3. If necessary, take a practice swing at a different length or speed
4. Repeat this process until the status LED turns red
5. Once you can get the LED to turn red with the back swing, take a swing using the same backswing and hit the ball.

Thanks for these details but chip is detected as you can see in the screenshot. The problem is the partial data that are captured (never AoA for instance).

My response above applies for both the shot being missed entirely, or missing information from the shot. 

using rct balls?

I have seen those metrics are often missing with those balls for unknown reasons.
