Make sure that the device you are using the Garmin Golf app meets the minimum device requirements.

Next range session you record, before opening the Garmin Golf app, try checking all of the apps you currently have running at that moment on your phone. 

Try stopping any apps you are not using during the session to ensure there are not a bunch of apps running taking up processing effort for the smartphone. 

Then launch the Garmin Golf app, and see if the concern still occurs without everything running on the phone. 

If the concern continues with the swing graphic, check and see if your phone is accessing data from your cellular network, or through WiFi and make sure the strength is looking healthy. If the strength is fine, try toggling one off to use the other for data access to see if that helps. 

The Garmin Golf app requires a constant data connection during sim session through the Garmin Golf app, often if it is stuck loading like that, it either is unable to access data, or a process got stuck due to the first part I mentioned in this response with too many apps taking up processing on the phone.
