Right I’ve bought the approach R10 can I get it to work right can I ***. I hit an 8 iron approx 130 yards my readings are around 104 to 110 any ideas I’m really struggling to get it to read right and thinking it’s been a waste of money. My set up below

In your 1st pic the alignment looks off.  On youTube's they are fannatics on getting perfect alignment.  Mnay suggest a trip to the hardware store and buy a laser light.  Garmin R10 is real touchey about left and right.

Dude you literally bought the after market stand for the sole purpose of alignment!

It likely has a hole in the front to stick it.

Buy an orange driveway marker from any big box store, they are $2 

Just be mindful they are made of fiberglass and can potentially give you a sliver if you're silly and handle it weird
