No Internet or Cell Service

We don’t have any internet or cell service at our property. Been out of golf for a while and just getting back into it. Really want the club path/face data so am leaning toward the R10. I’ve been doing a lot of research but can’t determine what actually works without cell service or Wi-Fi that gives access to the internet while using the R10 and associated iPhone/iPad. Understand that you need internet to download the app..

I'm pretty sure the Garmin Golf app needs internet access during start up.

So without internet access I don't believe it will work.

Edit: I actually tried to start Garmin Golf app without internet connection, and it starts. You get a warning about no network connection, but see no reason why it should not work as the R10 uses Bluetooth to Your phone.

You can forget home tee hero, but driving range should work fine giving You the data You're looking for.
