how do I get the "local downloadable courses" on my phone to show strokes played? I get to the tee but when I hit the doesnt show up on the screen nor does it show a stroke being taken. TYIA.

I just got Garmin R10 and saw the "local d'loadable courses" that do not need a "Network Connection" I get to the tee and I hit but no stroke registers nor does it show up on the hole layout on my phone.

Local courses are not possible to play with Garmin R10 unless You subscribe for HTH (Home Tee Hero).

And for that You need internet connection in order for the app to verify subscription.

Without subscription You have some range options available.
