The distance for no reason I’m aware of has dropped by 10 - 20%. I have reset the garmin, repaired the device, synced the garmin on express, reloaded the software app and nothin has worked. Has anyone experienced this?

There are a few factors to consider regarding concerns with distances. Based on the information in the title of the post, I only have the general concern mentioned with distance recording lower, so the…
Looks like we have the same issue. Dropped about 10-20% on most shots. The R10 was reading fine (for months) until a couple of weeks ago.
Already tried the various tips from the Garmin website. The results…
I can confirm the distance is incorrect and displaying results by almost 20% less than what they are.
Same here. I had a break for a week or so and started using again about 1 week ago. I’ve lost atleast 20m off my drive. Nothing else in the indoor environment has changed in last 12 months.
That might explain why it feels so off. I'll take the device to a pro sim tomorrow and compare results.
I have experienced this since the 4.3 update. Specifically with higher ball speed clubs (hybrid up to driver). Ball speeds and club speeds with those clubs also register all over the place. I use the RCT balls and don't know if that is the issue with those clubs but if I use a normal ball there is some improvement but there is essentially ZERO shot shape.
I have reset my unit, increased distance from ball, double checked that nothing else has changed in the room - all to no avail. Does anyone know if Garmin is addressing the problem. Is there a way of changing the firmware on the unit- I have the up to date firmware currently.
Glad it's not just me. I'm getting sick of this device. When I try to use it I spend more time trying to get it set up correctly than actually practicing.
Ive had 12 very enjoyable months playing with my friends in a garage on carpet. Now it's driving me nuts. Garmin have not commented on any of the conversations about this issue. Im thinking of selling my unit now and getting a better LM.

When you connect to garmin express and your firmware is up to date, does the firmware get re-written when you sync? Maybe our firmware is corrupt and we need to re-install the firmware? I can’t find how to rest the garmin back to factory settings so that we can reload the firmware.

Make sure the indoor/outdoor placement follows the Tips for Indoor or Outdoor Approach R10 Placement support page on our site.
If placement, end environmental factors that could be affecting the accuracy are not perceived to be causing the issue, then make sure the suggestions on the Troubleshooting Radar Features of the Approach R10
If you continue to have concerns, I would reach out to Garmin Support to discuss go over the issue more thoroughly.

Already tried the various tips from the Garmin website. The results are consistently off regardless of software (Garmin Golf, Aweseome Golf, GSPro) and for both of us that use it.
