Recieved R10 today Flashing Red Status Light as soon as i try to use it

Wondering if anyone can help me . I recieved my R10 today updated the software downloaded the app paired the bluetooth. As soon as i choose driving range / HTH or awesome golf to take a shot the LED on the front of the unit starts flashing RED. I am using this in my garage i turned off all power to the garage still the same problem i moved it to a different room same problem i set it up outside same problem. I am at a loss i connected it to my pc and looked in the fault log spreadsheet and a fault 13 NOACCEL is showing up i do not know if this is relevent or what it means as my googlefu is failing me.

Flashing red on the front led is really not a correct status, and not mentioned in the user manual:

Are You sure it's flashing?

The front led will turn red when the unit is detecting movement, and is normal as it is only telling You swing is detected.

If You waggle a lot You should not make a swing until the unit flashes green.

Yes I am sure the status LED flashes from the second I try to launch any of the apps including awesome golf which loses connection with the unit at the point of launching a game I then have to turn the unit off before it will respond again. But still have yet to get even a shot off it doesn't respond once any programme is launched

Sounds like something has gone wrong in the update process.

What happens if You connect it to a pc and run Garmin Express?

It's a shame that Garmin does not allow for a forced flash of the unit.

If the unit says You're up to date and the firmware is corrupt, You will have to get a replacement unit.

Thanks for the reply I spoke to the retailer and they are replacing the unit.
