Dring range mode. Club speed is in kmph. Other measurement all in mph? Whyi

Hi all, in the driving range screen. I want to display total distance, carry distance and club speed. Both total and carry distances are in mph. Only club speed is in kmh. Is there any way to change it to mph. Note that in detail data, club speed is in mph. Thanks

  • Check Your settings in settings..

Not clear from Your post what You have for distances, they are either m (metric) or yards (one of the other).

You should probably not go metric at all, but may be You have.

I use metric for distances but rest in mph.

  • Thank you for your quick response.   All the distances are in either yard, speeds are in mph.   Only the club speed is in kmh which I want to display on the main driving range screen along with total and carry distances ( which are in mph).   Try to find the way to make it display in mph.  I think it is the bug in the software.   Thank you again

  • I was having this same issue and am not exactly sure what fixed it, but it is fixed now. My previous session, I went into the Settings > Golf Speed Units. It was already set to MPH, but I set it to Kph then set it back to Mph. I believe I also did the same for units of measure. My next session, after the Garmin app was restarted and the R10 unit was restarted, the club speed field was magically set to Mph now on my main driving range screen. It does appear to be a bug and hopefully this helps.

  • As noted by others, this appears to be fixed.  It was a short-term problem (1-3 days?) and another person at the range that day had the same issue (so it wasn't some setting that I accidentally 'bumped'.   I load my sessions into GolfShotAnalytics (great s/w, btw) so I was worried that the exported swing speed data would be in kpm and my metrics would be messed up.  But it appeared the exported values were still in mph.
