I am at the driving range and when the golfers next to my bay are Not swinging, the R10 thinks I swung. Also, when I am putting my ball on the tee and no one in the next bay is swinging, the R10 detects a swing.

Are You referring to the red light on the unit?
The R10 detects movement and will turn red whenever something happens in front of it.
It does not matter if it is a player moving in the adjacent bay, or You putting the ball down.
It will find out the movement was not a swing, and turn green until the next movement it detects.
The problem will start when a player on next bay starts a swing just before You do. Then it will not detect Your swing, probably be confused, and not do anything.
