Is an Apple device a requirement for Garmin Approach R10?

The app worked 2 times on my android and now I can only use Awesome golf and nothing else. I wish Garmin would have stated that their product requires Apple devices in order to work. Thanks Garmin. Now I'll go buy an Ipad.

    I have been using my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra without any major issues for almost a year.  The issue I do get infrequently are:

    1. Blue LED on R10 with lost Bluetooth connection after using it -->Restart R10 and App to fix.
    2. White LED for standby but really it has lost connection -->Restart App to fix, sometimes have to restart R10 to fix
    3. App shuts down when opening driving range -->Reboot phone and restart R10 to fix
