In app temp question

Hello, I just recently got an Approach R10. I have set up a hitting area in my garage for me and my son's to hit in. Last night we were giving it a good run through and noticed that the distances were just off. My 7,8,9 and PW were going the same distance which I found strange ( 90-115 yd ) However I did some short chipping into the net, so about 10-11 ft. And the R10 was spot on. I packed up last night and went to bed not really worried about it. When I was looking through the app this morning I noticed that it was using my location to set the temp and altitude. Living in MN, it is cold here~ 20f last night outside. My question is, does this affect the distance of the ball or not? I can't imagine that hitting in 20 would do much good. Plus it was 85% humidity as it was snowing. I was going to test this out by changing the temp and seeing if it changes, but I figured I would ask everyone else first.

Just posting an update. I messed with the temperature settings in the Garmin app, I set the temperature to 70° and the relative humidity to 25%. I also dialed in the elevation setting by changing that…

I suggest setting the temp and humidity of that in your garage. This should help.

Thanks for that. I was going to try it out. I may even just pick a temp that I normally play in ( like 75 ) and just leave it that was until spring when we can get to the range with it.

Just posting an update. I messed with the temperature settings in the Garmin app, I set the temperature to 70° and the relative humidity to 25%. I also dialed in the elevation setting by changing that to 4500 my son and I played for about two hours last night on awesome golf, and the numbers seem to be fairly good now. So for anyone that is having issues with numbers, verify your settings, especially if you live in a cold weather climate like I do.
