Hello Garmin,
Thank you for making a great product in R10.
I have been observing that Home Tee Hero (HTH) produces excessive hooks and slices compared to E6 and Awesome Golf.
My theory is that HTH makes different assumption on golf ball spin decay than others.
So much so that I'm beginning to wonder if there is any "reduction" in spin while the ball in the air. This impacts the playability greatly.
Is this something Garmin-Rob can confirm?
I see discussions on spin decay at www.tutelman.com/.../spinDecay.php
btw, I'm happy to report that by sticking tiny piece of aluminum tape (used to seal our furnace ductwork) on the ball I do get non-italicized vertical spin rate. I saw this at a Youtube channel by David Maxfid at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6nS9AkybdH4
For me, the result is I gained about 15-20 yards on my driver shots. I think is the real backspin is less than what Garmin "thought" it was and altered the ball flight accordingly.
