Awesome Golf and TGC2019 SimLink unable to find Garmin R10

As the subject suggests, both Awesome Golf and SimLink apps will not find my r10 when i try to connect, however the garmin golf app does recognise the device and works fine.

I can use Awesome Golf using the assistant and connect through my PC, however using the simulator app directly on the phone no longer works.

The SimLink app just endlessly searches for the device.

Both of these apps have worked previously (I've just been using Awesome Golf Assistant recently), the only difference is that I updated the r10 software to 4.3. Has this caused an issue for anyone else?

Note: I've tried forgetting the device and repairing, uninstalling the apps and reinstalling etc. Both apps have appropriate permissions.

I've emailed both companies and they've said there is no issue with their apps.

Running on Pixel 6 Pro OS Android 13.

Hello, Awesome Golf released an update recently, that appears to have resolved this issue with their app. There still appears to be a similar issue with the TGC19 SimLink app however.

BTW, the issue for me was also there with R10 on 4.2.

I tried several settings for both apps, Awesome Golf and Garmin Golf im regards to access rights and battery usage behaviour and none worked so far.

Garmin Golf (as you also wrote) works as intended.

Hello, when trying to connect, it never displays any sort of error message? If it continually times out, have we tried uninstalling the app and clearing the pairing history between phone and R10 and trying again? We can also try doing that same thing with the Garmin Golf app.

Hi, no error besides "Unable to detect any device, please ensure that the Garmin Golf app is also running", so I guess this is the timeout you mentioned.

At first start, it asks for permission of location and nearby devices, which has been granted.

Also R10 blinks green, indicating it is connected to Garmin Golf and ready (which it is, if I switch back to Garmin Golf app, I can use the device e.g. on the Range).

I tried removing all the cache and data, deleting both apps and removing R10 from Bluetooth history. Still, Awesome Golf won't find the R10.

Hi Rob, no error message with Simlink, Awesome Golf just "Unable to detect any device". Cleared history (forgot device), uninstalled and reinstalled all apps. Gamrin Golf App works fine. Also same issue as Kapetn-G, r10 blinks green indicating it's already connected to Garmin Golf. Tried putting the r10 in pairing mode and opening the apps without going into garmin golf, issue still occurs.

Strange, Garmin-Rob contacted me and I just wanted to try noting down all steps I do and make screenshots of every message - now Awesome Golf was able to find the R10 o_O

Neither the Apps, nor the R10 has been updated since last time I tried...

The only thing which is different, is that I moved to my living room for testing. I'll try tomorrow if it will work from my sim-golf area and come back here.
