Golf app crashing with r10

Cant use golf sim driving range or home town hero.  I've tried the usual fixes.  Uninstalled reinstalled.  Restart device clear cache and data.  Nothing.   Now I get a message saying there is a bug and to wait for update from developer.  Is this a known issue and when will it be fixed?  I cannot use my r10

    Two months on and we seem to all still be having this problem. Why has Gamin not done anything to help us yet? 

  • I used to work for one of the top ten companies in the world during the 1990's they stopped listening to customers and do not exist today.

  • Same situation for me.  What's worse, this is day 1 for me and so now I'm wasting my HTH free trial days.  Super frustrating.

    2 persons have updated their phone, and problem disappeared.

    So is the problem related to the phone sw or the garmin app?

    Why does the app work on all other devices?

    I know what I think.

  • I've tried all the fixes in the thread.  None worked for me.  I loaded the app on a ios device, works fine.  Tells me it's a problem with the garmin app.  I see tons of complains with ANDROID and Samsung S20/S21.  Exactly my situation.  I've tried unpairing, repairing, remove data, remove cache, uninstall app, reinstall app.  Nothing worked on my Android phone.  If you have specific steps to follow, then please help the community out, because clearly none of us can find those steps.

  • Hi, I have not loaded HTH yet, but I'm using the Garmin App Range without any issues.  I have a Samsung Galaxy A20. My phone was last updated in April 2022 & it says I have the latest update when I try to update the phone.  Have you powered the phone off, waited, & restarted the phone ?  The only reference in this thread that I noticed was powering off the device. Not sure if that meant the phone or the R10.

  • Golf App 2.8 and later 2.9 still keep crashing on my Samsung Galaxy S21 with R10.

    You installed the app on an ios device and it works fine there, so then the issue must be with the app?

    The only people who has this issue has S21 or S22 phones from Samsung, which tells me is more likely to be related to those phones software than the app.

    Also confirmed by some people updating their phones and problem disappeared.

    Myself, I have an old Galaxy S7, without sny problems.

    It could be related to latest version of Android of course, but there for sure must be other brands also running on this.

    Samsung is not running clean Android, they have a layer on top. 

    But if the issue is with Samsung Android on S21/22 it is not straight forward for Garmin to fix that. Maybe Samsung customer service is the correct place for reporting this, I don't know.

  • Please stop talking as I have another type of Samsung with the fold 4  and have same issues. Also had issue with note 10 as well. We don't need you acting like garmin is not the problem it clearly is and why the released an update because they knew about it
