Golf app crashing with r10

Cant use golf sim driving range or home town hero.  I've tried the usual fixes.  Uninstalled reinstalled.  Restart device clear cache and data.  Nothing.   Now I get a message saying there is a bug and to wait for update from developer.  Is this a known issue and when will it be fixed?  I cannot use my r10

    Same issue with my Samsung S22+, not working and still have issues with my Tables Samsung S8 too... that constantly said update the App and not have a official update from Garmin.

    Installed new Samsung update..... Fingers crossed for resolution and..... Still crashing. What's going on! This is getting ridiculous.

    A new update for my S22 Ultra just came out (in Australia). The app (Home Tee Hero and Driving Range) is now working on my phone, no problem.

    No lucky for me, i update my phone S22+ and the app still crashing when you hit the play button...i give all permission to the app think that was the problem, but no lucky... not work. and Garmin no show up on this.

    The issue is that the Garmin app is not compatible with Samsung's upgrades. How is downgrading the app going to help with the Samsung upgrades? Garmin is dropping the ball terribly. Meanwhile we are stuck with a $600 brick. I think Garmin has enough resources to fix this in a day. Garmin is probably in the process of developing a new app and is probably not even bothering on looking for a fix for the current app.

    Yes, I understand that there is an issue with S22 phones.

    But if he installs the app on his tablet at least he can use that, right?

    And how can a downgrade help on his S22?

    Don't know, but does it hurt to try? Garmin has done a lot of changes in their app lately, and maybe some older version of the app does not have this issue.

    When this problem is related to one phone type from one vendor, I can imagine it is not straight forward what causes it.

    I am not able to use the golf sim or home town hero on the app. I've tried uninstalling the app, deleting and adding the device, restarting my phone. I went onto the customer service chat feature and was told I coult try to install garmin express on my laptop and update the r10. I tried that but the software was already up to date.My phone is a Samsung galaxy s21 plus. Garmin golf app version is 2.8. R10 software version is 4.3.

    I've just updated my S21 to latest Samsung Update and the app has stopped crashing. Fingers crossed.
