I had the same problem and this is what worked for me. I had to use something to deflect the air downward as it came out of AC. This made it quieter as well. It completely stopped my interference problems.
Will try it thanks
Hi did that work? I have a similar issue wit ha portable AC unit about 5 feet directly to the right of the garmin. I knew in front was bad because the app would tell me. I don't get interference warnings on the app but I do get a red steady light on the garmin 75% of the times and turning off AC unit fixes that. The R10 is on the floor and the air coming out of portable AC is 2-3 feet above unit
I get how frustrating radio interference can be, especially when it's affecting your simulator setup. The heat makes it tough to switch off the air conditioning, but a simple fix could be adding ferrite beads or chokes to your cables. They can suppress interference without altering your AC use. Also, consider shielding or repositioning your equipment to minimize interference. Oh, and if you're in LA, reaching out to experts in air conditioning Los Angeles might provide some tailored solutions to handle the heat without compromising your simulator setup. They can offer tips to mitigate interference while keeping things cool and running smoothly.
