Outdoor range and club path questions

I’m picking up the R10 this week and had 2 questions. Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

1. I plan to use the R10 at an outdoor range. There is some concrete ( bay separators, and I would most likely place it on concrete). I heard concrete can interfere with radar, so I plan on putting a towel down and then the R10. Curious if that will be enough to not have concrete interference.

2. Curious what owners have seen with club path accuracy with the R10?

Thank you,

  • I've hit on the range with R10 place on concrete behind me and don't seem to have (m)any issues. Ball flight is generally true, and all of the other numbers seem to be in line with what is expected.

  • Same here.

On range the R10 is performing very well for me. At least as long it is not raining when it becomes useless.

In my backyard I have issues with the longer clubs becoming short. Think this is due to lower ball flight which the unit basically should read for longer to become accurate. Awesome Golf reported to be better, so this is purely Garmin Golf app issue.
