Feature Request: Additional Golf Bag(s)

I play with my modern clubs, and sometimes with a set of hickories. Additionally, I've been thinking of picking up another set of vintage steel shafted clubs (circa 1950s-1960s) to "practice my hickories" at the public range with less fear of breaking a hickory shaft on a range rock.

Right now, I have my hickories listed in my golf bag, but it makes selecting clubs frustrating because now I have two 5-irons, two 7-irons, etc. Even with the custom names I put in ("Hickory Niblick", etc.), the big circle logo is still a "5". Anyway, seems like it would be a decent feature. I can't be the only person using more than one set of clubs.

  • This a feature that is missing on their whole range of golf devices, on the watches and handhelds you also want to be able to add several set of clubs. As you say the point of being able to name each club and still not be able to see this distinction on the device is quite strange, not the first time a half done feature makes we wonder how many of the devs actually play golf. I have to sets I alter with but due to limitiations I only track one of them.

  • Just wanted to add that it's just not several sets as that might seem a bit extreme, I guess most stick to one set.

The very same problem occurs if a user is switching between two drivers, how do you know wihich one select when both are named Driver on the device.

I would like to be able to track two drivers as it just doesnt have to be two physically different drivers, it could actully be the very same driver but with different hosel settings for loft/lie. This is why its so strange that this function is still not implemented. If the nickname of the club somehow could be shown it would be great as you could have Driver 9, Driver 10.5 etc.

  • When you analyse your shots (from the R10) in the new version of R10Analytics, you can define clubs sets, each containing a subset of your clubs. You can then restrict yourself to a club set and see analytics for the clubs in that set only. Would be nice if the Garmin app had that as well.
