Not getting data export

I requested a data export more than a week ago and still did not receive it. I sent a message to support and they said there was some issue and it would be resolved soon, but that is already 3 days ago. Does anybody else have this problem?

It is really frustrating as it hampers me from developing my R10Analytics program further.

    I have requested two data exports in the last week.  The first I received after a 2 day delay.  The second export , I received within a couple of hours.  One issue I have with both is that most of the data appears to be missing.  I'm trying to import it using your R10Analytics program.  I can look at the json extract and it looks like most of the the is missing from it, so I dont think it is an issue with R10Analytics import.   Have you seen an issue like that before?  Or perhaps it is linked to the issue you are referring to above.

  • I really don't understand why we have to make a request for these data, and then wait for hours or days to receive it?

    Why not make it downloadable direct from Your account?

  • I have by now received the data, and a next request was handled within half an hour. So it seems there was an issue, which is solved now.

    The reason this is not immediate is that this mechanism was not meant for actually using the data. It was meant to comply with privacy regulations. But as there is at the moment no other way to get the data this is the mechanism you have to use to use R10Analytics. I will try to convince Garmin to provide a different mechanism, once the program has a reasonable number of users.
