E6 Connect and DirectX

Hi all.

Having spent days on my new R10 trying to get it to record realistic distances, I have all but given up as it is just not going to happen.

One final solution I am attempting to try is to use the E6 connect software. I read that you can adjust the altitude to 10,000ft or something and get correct readings for your clubs. It's ridiculous that I will have to pay a minimum of $300 to use something I have already paid close to £600 to get working, but it is my last attempt.

So I downloaded a full version first then signed up with E6 so they could send me a demo version of the software. I got the same problem with both installations. As soon as I try to run the software, I get a popup saying

So I checked the version on my fairly powerful laptop and I am actually using DirectX 12. I appreciated that DirectX is not backwards compatible but seriously, are they telling me that I need to 'upgrade' to a machine that is older than mine for this software to work???

Has anyone come across this issue and managed to resolve it without reverting to using a Sega Saturn?

Thanks for any help.
