My R10 light is solid blue. I'm unable to pair with it and hold the button down for 30 seconds or 5 minutes does not change anything. I can connect to it with Garmin Connect and see the files but unable to reset the device.

Unfortunately, the blue pairing light was on for over five days and no idea how long it would take to drain the battery. Another tech I worked with was kind enough to let me send it back for another unit. I do believe your answer would have worked but it takes too long to wait for the battery to drain.
Lightning now 24 hours blue…any other solution? Is it possible to disconnect the battery?

If all the battery is powering is that blue led, it will take an eternity to drain it...
After 4 days the battery was completely drained, blue LED turned off. After 5 minutes charging, I finally could pair. Thanks.
