4 Club Difference in Distance

Thanks for the reply. I'm going to try e6 at 6000 elevation in hopes of having something playable. Seems like this has been an unresolved issue for months and months so unfortunately my R10 looks like it is going to be going back. 

E6 works perfectly! Yes I have my elevation at 6000 and the distances are bang on to real life golfing. Though I think they are generous on left/right measurements. If I shank a ball it doesn't go flying into the woods like it would in real life lol.

I'm frankly baffled by the amount of R10 Youtube reviews with not a single mention of the distance inaccuracies. Seems like a pretty big metric to be so far off 

I'm assuming because reviewers are using it outdoors or in areas with high ceilings. I've made a detailed post on this months ago. Even took my r10 to a public sim that used uneekorXO. It worked perfectly there but my garage and basement are both short distances.

Interesting! Funny how it can be so good yet so bad. There seem to be a decent number of units that are spot on in their current setups. Wondering if the we're in the majority or minority of overall units with the distance issues.

I'm outdoors hitting into a 10x7 black net so besides the range, not sure how much better the setup can get. Seeing the most complaints about indoor setups. In the current state, HTH and the Garmin range are unplayable. There has to be a patch or something that can bring the numbers to within a club. Possibly an option to select your setup (range, outdoors, indoors) then tweak the elevation or something.

I am in the EXACT same unfortunate position. Got the unit on Saturday and very excited, only to be constantly hitting my 7 iron 110-120 yds, rather than it's usual 150. I too am set up outside hitting into a net. It must be something to do with how the net interferes with the ball flight or something??? Anyway, very annoying that a £500 piece of kit cannot perform it's most basic function accurately - when we have been led to believe all along that hitting into a net was OK. I love the idea of HTH but may find myself not being able to reach the fairway with driver on a lot of the famous courses! I don't own an ios device so can't even try e6 Connect. I'm at a loss and Garmin can't help, other than referring me back to the outdoor/indoor set-up guide.

I had to buy an iPad. E6 works amazing but only 5 courses. I’m not paying the insane yearly cert for 22 more courses. 

I just went to the range and numbers are closer but are still off by 2-3 clubs vs 4 clubs into the net. Disappointing
